They look great and store much more than I thought they would. Many options for designing the look you want. I split mine into two units. One on each wall. Gotten lots of compliments on them.This one is sturdy enough for the price. I really put 10lb painting materials on it but it doesn't bend. At first, I was disappointed thinking it as cheap plastic. But when you build this properly and put staff it works well.I used this product to stock snacks for my toddlers because I homeschool. And love the way it worked out. Thank you.The instructions don't show to put the doors on until after the cubes have been built. So I originally built it without adding the doors. Maybe I was doing something incorrectly, but I couldn't get them on until I took the whole thing apart and put the doors on as I built it a second time.You also have to be mindful that you're putting the connector pieces on correctly, or you'll be frustrated. The flat ends should always be facing outward.I feel like I could have done something incorrectly because the doors won't catch on the hooks when I tried to install them. I decided not to deal with them as the doors stay well enough for my purposes.The end result does look really nice. As others have said, they are very lightweight and not ideal for heavier items, but I purchased them for storing yarn and other craft supplies.If you don't hate figuring out how to put things together on your own, then by all means go for it and buy it.Overall a very good product. The only challenge could be to fix the middle holders.Normally don't do reviews, BUT I feel detailed reviews help others decide.Pros:▪︎aesthetically pleasing ☆Great in open living area or closet▪︎large overall capacity▪︎ Compact design(requires limited excess space)▪︎Choosing to leave doors off does not effect integrity of unit⛔CONS▪︎somewhat flimsy panels( can limit standing items upright, as heavier items flex/bend the panels and create an uneven surface)▪︎Doors do not latch and won't even close evenly in most cases( I bought this to keep items rodent free in an attic, but fear there's enough gap in most doors they can still access the units.▪︎unit can ONLY be assembled complete, NOT cube by cube...I would have really liked to have put part of these cubes in a separate area, but there's not enough pieces to form cubes separate from the complete unit.▪︎Tedious and TIME CONSUMING to assemble.They send you a hammer to put the pieces together with and in order to get them to lock together sturdily you have to beat them with the very cheap hammer included.. and the connecter still come loose when you try to move the unit-- I'm considering gluing it together one connecter at a time if I have to move it again & it comes apart and I have to reassemble any joints, that joint is getting Glue! Also Gluing in the bottom(corner) connectors as even sliding an empty unit on plywood caused them to come off.. and that impacts the overall integrity of the unit.OVERALL, I'm generally pleased, It was difficult to assemble, has decent storage capacity(know the size of the overall unit AND individual cubes before you buy... the cube size can limit a lot of items from being stored in it. No standard sized paper or books(only small ones) It does the job because I was prepared and knew most of this before hand. I HIGHLY recommend you go on YouTube and watch an assembly video before you buy. I will be finding a way to put latches in the unit's doors in the future.. the poly material is made out of is Midweight and flexible, I'm sure I can rivet,or sew a latch or snap closure on it as I would with a leather item.It's cost-effective.LightI am very pleased with these storage cubes. Especially for the price. I cannot give it the 5 stars I would like because I found when putting it together, I cracked or snapped pieces off many of the joint pieces. When you have four joints interconnected, they don’t fit in properly and if you use the hammer provided to knock them in, it either cracks or a piece flies off, making one section of the joint useless. I find it is sturdy and very useful for my yarn. They hold a fair amount, but I would have liked the cubes a bit bigger. I chose this brand because I thought it was pretty and would look nice. It looks lovely in my room. I think that extra joint pieces should be provided to allow for breakage or for construction them in different figurations from the one shown. I have mine stacked 6 high and two wide and then another 5 high 1 wide. I cannot make the last three cubes because there are not enough joints.I was a little sceptical at first since it is all plastic. But it is really quite sturdy. Putting it together was a bit of a challenge to get started but once I got a couple pieces together the rest was easy. I do a lot of quilting and I needed some extra storage in my sewing room to store fabric, this unit is pretty and definitely work for my needs. I wish I had more space to add another one, would definitely recommend.Half of the panels were dirty and had foot prints all over them. Gross! Multiple panels had holes punched in them. It’s too bad because the product seems to be of good quality otherwise. It was also missing 1 door panel.When assembling this product its important to notice the way you want to put the panels before starting to put everything together. I did this by separating the matching panels into groups. It's also VERY IMPORTANT to have the leaf design on the TOP of the shelf, I had put them underneath before realizing the material is wrapped the other way around, so it would take more weight on the leaf side up.I gave this product 3 stars because assembly was such a pain, it took me 2 hours to assemble this product. That's because when I would almost get finished I would hear a snap and realize one of the plastic clips had snapped and broke. I would have to disassemble almost the entire product to replace the broken plastic pieces. I had to do this 3 times. So I really appreciate the extra pieces. There was an extra panel, a few extra clips and a few extra door closing snaps. Had it not of been for the extra pieces I would have had to returned this product.It's perfect for clothing or craft storage. I would not put anything heavy in this.
